  1. I liked that there is mobility when grabbing items but the padding is still substantial where you don’t feel the heat at all. I’ve used these on a 400 degree oven and no heat was felt even between the thumb and the rest of the mitt. I also liked that they were longer, so more protection on your arms. I had to find a mitt that was small enough for me but also fits man hands, this fit the bill in many ways.

  2. Well, they are high heat resistant, and that’s what I was looking for. But the little silicone honeycomb pattern that’s all over these make it impossible to slide your hand out from under pans when you put them down. I’ve almost dropped a few pans because of this. Also, probably because of the silicone, they’re pretty stiff. Mine also had a weird, musty smell like others mentioned, which is off-putting. I gave it 3 stars ONLY because it is high heat resistant, and that was why I originally purchased these. However, I would not buy these again.

  3. I like these mitts, especially the nonslip grip. My only complaint is that they are huge! If I’m not paying attention they slip off as I reach into the oven. I included a picture compared to my (very old and gross) mitt that I’m replacing, the size difference doesn’t look like that much but it feels very significant.
