Never Met a Stranger

Never Met a Stranger

JMS Books LLC. 2014

English professor Gavin Dozier hasn’t had much luck when it comes to love. When his last boyfriend cheated on him, he was driven to experiment with women. Sex with Marian, though, had its own dangers, and before he knew it, he was a father. Now estranged, the only thing Gavin and Marian have in common is their daughter Evie, a precocious seven-year-old who stays with Gavin every other weekend. While out with her daddy, Evie meets the heavily-tattooed Brody Phelps, a sketch artist with serious talent who still dresses like a brooding punk rocker, even though he’s in his thirties. Brody is instantly attracted to the sexy college professor, but knows Gavin is out of his league -- the man has a kid, which probably means he isn’t gay, and besides, Brody never even graduated from high...

  1. Followed the directions and was sitting on my porch in no time at all. Only problem I had in putting it together was fixed by turning the piece (the back) around. Then everything fit perfectly. I love this glider and use it daily. I have this in a covered and screened porch and plan on leaving it there year round.

  2. UPDATE: The seller shipped replacement parts and we’re so glad we finally have a glider that works. It’s really very nice and we’re looking forward to enjoying it for a long time as it is quite sturdy. We appreciate the seller being so attentive to resolving the problems with the glider. I’m giving it 4 stars since it took extra time to resolve the problems, but for appearance and durability, it’s a very good product. (1st review: The welding of the struts on the glider base are off by more than 20 degrees. No matter how much pulling and pushing we could not line up the screw holes to attach the glider to the bench. Waiting on seller to provide a solution. Otherwise this is junk. Bench is too short to use as just a bench. base is useless. This does not appear to be damaged in shipment, but was a factory error.)

  3. Updated Review:The company was extremely fast in sending me the instructions that were missing in my box, and a sincere apology for the condition the parts arrived in. I’ve seen people reviewing this product saying it’s tough to assemble. I kindly disagree. The very last nut & washer were tough to get into place, but all the holes were in the right places. My tip: make absolutely certain you’re obeying the instruction to *NOT* tighten things all the way the first go through. This makes a huge difference. Also, take your time. The instructions aren’t overly descriptive, but if you take your time and look at the images and read the words carefully it’s not impossible by any means.Original Review: So far so disappointed. The cushion for the seat arrived with splits in the seams. Also, no Assembly instructions were in the box. My husband already recycled the box so I just spent 20 minutes sewing the seams back together. Will update if I can figure out the assembly.
