  1. I have been using this product for 30 years. I’ve probably done at least 50+ brake jobs and never had an issue with noise. It could not be more simple to use. Just spread a small amount on the backs of your brake pads, where the pads will contact either the brake caliper or the caliper piston. Wait for the item to firm up/dry and then assemble. It does not take much product to do the job and you really do not want to have extra product on your brakes. This bottle will last for many many brake jobs. Its hard to estimate but I only needed to replace mine do to stepping on and cracking the bottle. It was brittle as it was well over 10-15 years old. I have never had a problem with this product hardening in the bottle and it will last you a long time. Also make sure to get high quality disc brake caliper grease for surfaces where the pads move inside the caliper and for caliper pins etc. Some people even use this grease instead of this product as it can sit between the pads and calipers and also keep the metal vibrating and causing squeals, but this product dries harder and is less likely to be pushed out so I believe its a better use.

  2. This was very easy to use, it took some time to set up but not too long. Really reduced the awful squealing my brakes were making but didn’t totally eliminate it. I’m not sure if there is any conceivable reason why it has to be bright red, but it would be nice if it were a less attention grabbing color only because the outside pad is covered in it and shows.Overall it worked pretty well, but didn’t completely solve my problem. Would highly recommend.

  3. Just replaced both front and rear brake pads and rotors on my 1999 BMW M3. Used this stuff on the backs of the brake pads and it has worked great. It dries quite well and prevents any kind of brake squeal. This bottle contains a lot so I won’t need to buy any more anytime soon.
