  1. I am 73 years old and have struggled every year with trying to move ladders, climb around and scoop leaves out of the gutters multiple times a year. tried 3 or 4 types of gutter guards…..all junk. Saw a guy on You tube using a similar tube extension on a leaf blower. Paired the Weed Eater attachment to the Weed Eater Super Blower 2570 and I could not have been happier with the results. Have used it 4 times on lines of gutter about 8 feet up and one at the end of the last tube which makes it about 16 feet. The whole unit when assembled can be lifted up fairly easy and the sections stay together even when banged about on the gutter. Yes, it can be messy if leaves are wet and packed but the 2570 will blow them out.My 2570 has 2 settings and I can use the lower setting for all the gutters. The high velocity setting when used with all the extensions mounted creates too much counter rotation for me to control down at the bottom. Aside from that I view my purchase as a smart move and recommend it to others based on these couple of thoughts:Make sure your leaf blower has enough to move out the leaves. Mine is rated at 195 MPH.Because of velocity in the tube I would make sure the attachment make fits the blower make. Mine are both Weed Eaters and compatible.

  2. Great idea — the connector to my Weed Eater blower model was correct, the extension tubes and nozzle were well designed, easy to assemble and stayed assembled. I was able to control the pressure created when the blower was turned on using three tubes and was actually able to blow a few leaves from my garage gutters before it fell apart. Repeatedly. Between the blower connector and the tubes the connection was very loose and came apart, and I could not get it to stay together long enough to be useful. I went ahead and dragged out the ladder to get it over with for another year but I will re-read the reviews regarding hose clamps and duct tape and try to MacGuyver it for next year (including an investigation of the importance of the thin plastic gasket-type ring that came shooting out on attempt #3 or 4.) Not giving up on it quite yet but definitely wondering if will be okay to put it in the recycle bin at some point.

  3.  Works as advertised No problems. I actually have two sets and combine them together to give me enough length to reach my 2nd floor gutters (about 24 ft off the ground). The added length is a little awkward and can cause strain on your arms/shoulder. Just take your time and move slowly. This technique was a lot easier than getting out my heavy very long ladder.
